We had planned a weekend trip to the area to visit family and also some friends. We had stayed in other hotels in the area in the past and decided to give this place a try. It is conveniently located on the TCH and provides easy access into Gander area. Upon arrival, I was provided prompt reception and since the room was prepaid, no delays in getting assigned an interior room. It was my preference to have an outside room with easy access to our vehicle since we would be coming and going all weekend. Wayne at the reception was able to accommodate our needs without hesitation and he called our room afterwards to make sure everything was ok, which it was of course. The king size bed was a welcome addition and was very comfortable. The room had a small fridge which was excellent, so we could add a few things which we had brought along. The bathroom was ok. It appeared to have been renovated and the shower was a newer upgrade; however, the positioning of the drain in the centre made it a bit awkward when trying to take a shower. The shower head is ultra conservative on water but tolerable. Other than the tub, the bathroom was adequate with plenty of towels. The breakfast that was included in the fee was good. There were scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, and bacon or sausages. There was plenty of other dried cereals and toast available along with juices and coffee. The dining area was very clean and well maintained. Check out was simple and no issues or concerns. This was a good location, reasonable room, and great service.

We were stranded in Gander as our vehicle broke down on the highway. What started as a 1 night stay turned into a four night stay. We were treated so exceptionally well by all of the amazing staff who work at this hotel. From our check-in experience with Emily (probably the best hotel staff ever), Strawberry, Renee and the other woman who worked in the dining room, Wayne who went out of his way to find a way for us to spend our 4th night in the same room and all the staff who work fastidiously to clean the rooms...A HUGE THANK YOU from my husband and I. The rooms are large, well-appointed, have excellent mattresses and a spacious shower. All of our breakfasts were excellent. It is super convenient having a "Jungle Jims" attached to the hotel. I also enjoyed the outdoor seating area (ie. the gazebo). Highly recommend!!

Although the hotel is older, it is really well kept. We were greeted immediately and welcomed. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Room and bathroom had everything a traveler could need, coffee, tea, coffee maker, fridge. Microwave, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, makeup remover, and lots of towels. Location is central and easy to get in and out of. There is a restaurant right next door, Jungle Jims as well as others very close by.

The property was easy to find. Staff were helpful, pleasant and accommodating.Our room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to do our laundry using their free washer and dryer. Breakfast had a good selection of items set up buffet style. There were several places within walking distance to have a meal as well.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I have stayed here before and the staff are always incredible. The hotel is very close to the airport and close to a few restaurants. We were able to walk to the airport museum which was nice. It’s not a luxury hotel but it’s clean and comfortable and has great air conditioning.
