We had planned a weekend trip to the area to visit family and also some friends. We had stayed in other hotels in the area in the past and decided to give this place a try. It is conveniently located on the TCH and provides easy access into Gander area. Upon arrival, I was provided prompt reception and since the room was prepaid, no delays in getting assigned an interior room. It was my preference to have an outside room with easy access to our vehicle since we would be coming and going all weekend. Wayne at the reception was able to accommodate our needs without hesitation and he called our room afterwards to make sure everything was ok, which it was of course. The king size bed was a welcome addition and was very comfortable. The room had a small fridge which was excellent, so we could add a few things which we had brought along. The bathroom was ok. It appeared to have been renovated and the shower was a newer upgrade; however, the positioning of the drain in the centre made it a bit awkward when trying to take a shower. The shower head is ultra conservative on water but tolerable. Other than the tub, the bathroom was adequate with plenty of towels. The breakfast that was included in the fee was good. There were scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, and bacon or sausages. There was plenty of other dried cereals and toast available along with juices and coffee. The dining area was very clean and well maintained. Check out was simple and no issues or concerns. This was a good location, reasonable room, and great service.

When I initially booked I requested a microwave. We arrived early and was able to check in early without a problem. when we got to the room there was no microwave, not even 2 minutes later we get a call from Natalie at the desk(yes that never happens anywhere ever!) checking in on us asking us was everything alright. we told her we didn’t have a microwave and she had us moved to a room within minutes! She went completely above and beyond any service I’ve seen in a long time! (she needs a raise) she takes her job seriously and went above to ensure we were 100% comfortable). We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and they even gave my 8 month old a breakfast. lovely experience all around. great place 10/10 recommend!

property is located along main highway , centered amongst restaurants and gas stations. although it only has a breakfast room, it is restaurants on either side of the property and more within a short drive. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds are super comfortable with mini fridge in the room. Coffee available off main lobby and a microwave for guest use.

Good location off the highway for access to Aviation Museum. Unbeknownst to us, our stay was over "swim meet weekend" so there were very many kids around the hotel. Thankfully (and if this was due to the thoughtfulness of staff - thank you!) we were located at the end of a wing, which cut down on the number of kids running in the hall outside our room!

Excellent value for money, very comfortable and clean rooms, and an obvious choice while traveling through to other destinations in NL. It is centrally located and close to all attractions, including an awesome (must do) boardwalk trail at Cobb's Pond Rotary Park. This is a must! https://www.gandercanada.com/en/explore/ParksTrails.aspx#
